Notification Services


Find out immediately when your order is shipped, delivered, or ready for will call pickup through text, email, or app notification. Whenever you place an order, you can decide which type of notifications you want to receive, such as a text when your order leaves our warehouse, a text when our truck delivers your order, or a text when your order is ready for will call pickup.

Types of Notifications

Customize how and when you receive notifications for:

  • Counter PIN is used
  • Advance Shipping Notices (ASN)
  • Order is delivered
  • Items are ready for customer pickup
  • Ticket is picked up
  • Ticket is shipped and en route

Customize How You Receive Notifications


You can customize how and when you receive notifications from your Elliott Electric Supply online account. You can also choose to receive notifications for a specific sub-account.

Text message SMS notifications

Text Message

You can get select text notifications when their order is ready for Will Call pick-up, when their order is put on our delivery truck, when their order is the next stop, and when their order is delivered.

Email notifications

Email

Customers can choose separate emails for each invoice, one email with individual attachments for each invoice, or one email with all invoices in a single document.

Logistics Notifications FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions


Before each shipment leaves our store, ASN recipients will receive a one-time notification of pending the delivery.

To view, add, modify, or delete your Advance Shipping Notices, go to your Account Settings, then select Advance Shipping Notice Preferences.

Manage Advance Shipping Notice ASN

To Add an Advance Shipping Notification Recipient,
  • Select "ALL Subaccounts follow the SAME settings", or select "Each Sub-Account follows INDIVIDUAL settings" and select the individual account from the drop down.
  • Enter the recipient's name and email.
  • Click on the " + add" link.
  • Repeat these steps to add each recipient.
  • Click the Save button.
To Delete an Advance Shipping Notification Recipient,
  • Click the "X" on the recipient row.
  • Click the Save button.
To Edit an Advance Shipping Notification Recipient,
  • Click "Edit" on the recipient row.
  • Edit the name or email.
  • Click the Set button.
  • Click the Save button.

You can customize how and when you receive notifications from Elliott Electric Supply. Options include purchases, shipment, and will-call notifications, which can be applied to your different sub-accounts however you like.

To view, add, or delete notifications on the website, go to your Account Settings page, then select Notifications Settings.

Manage Notification Settings

To Delete a Notification, click Delete at the end of the notification row that you want to delete.

To Add a Notification,
  • Click the Add New Notification button on the Notifications Settings page.
  • Select the Message Type, either Email or SMS/Text Message.
  • Enter the recipient's email or phone number.
  • Select the Sub-Account from the dropdown.
  • Check the box by each type of notification that should be sent.
  • Click the Add Notification(s) button.

Mobile App Notifications

Notifications for PO acknowledgement, advance shipping notices, delvery alerts, and new invoices are also available on our Elliott Electric mobile app.

In addition to ASN and other notifications, you can also use the Recent Orders page on ElliottElectric.com to check order status and drill-down into the shipment(s) for each order. As certain orders will have multiple shipments, our system lets you see which items are on each individual shipment, each shipment's status, and tracking number. Similar information is also available for non-shipped orders (like pick-ups, etc.), giving you the place, time, and method by which your materials left our facilities. For many areas, we will soon offer GPS tracking on our trucks, so you can know exactly when and where your stuff is!
